These snowflakes turned out so cute as ornaments, I might have to make more to create a garland with! They're a little more complex than the other ornaments I've posted, but the pattern is easy to pick up on once you've made it a couple times. Feel free to switch up the colors too! I want to do some purple ones and maybe more blue...

Materials:
Medium-weight yarn
4 mm crochet hook
Crochet needle
Scissors
Instructions:
Start with a slipknot, then chain 4 and connect with a slip stitch.
Round 1:
Chain 4 (this counts as first DC). DC in center ring and
chain 1. Continue until you have a total of 12 DC in the round.
Connect with a slip stitch.
Round 2:
Chain 4. Skip the next chain one space and then slip stitch
in the next chain one space. Chain 4 again and repeat. Continue
until the end of the round, then connect with a slip stitch.
Round 3:
Find first chain four space and slip stitch into it. Chain 1. Half double crochet, double
crochet, treble crochet. Chain 2, treble, double, half double. This is all in the same space.
Slip stitch into the next chain 4 space and continue the pattern. Connect the end of the round with a slip stitch.
Round 4:
Chain 5. Find chain 2 space and slip stitch. Chain 4. Insert hook into first chain you
made (of the four) and slip stitch. Chain 4, insert hook, slip stitch. Repeat 1 more time for a
total of 3 little lumps. Slip stitch to the original chain two spaces from the third round (may look a little wonky). Chain 4.
Next stitch- find where you did the slip stitch in Round 3. Slip stitch into it.
Repeat steps from beginning of the round. Continue until you reach the end of the round.
Slip stitch to connect.
Chain 1, cut, and knot to finish. Weave in ends.
