Seasonal Gnome

You will need:

  • Fabric scraps (not too small)

  • White or gray felt

  • Plastic cup

  • Pompom

  • Wood bead

  • Hot glue gun + glue

Start by making the hat. Take a piece of felt and hot glue it into a small, cone shape. Be sure to measure your cone to the cup so it fits right! Cut the excess felt off the bottom as needed.

Once the felt cone is glued down, glue your chosen fabric over top of it, holding the cone shape.

Use fabric to form a brim and glue it onto the bottom of the hat. Finish it off by gluing a pompom on the top. Set hat aside.

Next, glue fabric around the plastic cup for the gnome’s clothing. Cut beard shapes out of white felt and glue them on the other side of the plastic cup, forming the gnome’s beard.

Glue the hat onto the cup. Glue the wood bead on where you would like the gnome’s nose to be.

Enjoy your finished gnome!
