I absolutely love scrunchies! These are so soft with velvet or blanket yarn, and can be the perfect addition to any outfit. I didn't realize how easy they would be to crochet, otherwise I would have made some sooner!

For this project I used Bernat velvet yarn, a 6.0 mm crochet hook, and a hair tie. Start by making a slip knot, then single crochet all the way around your hair tie. Slip stitch into the first single crochet to finish the first round.

Chain two (this counts as your first double crochet) and place three double crochets into each stitch. Slip stitch into the first double crochet and tie off to finish. Cut and weave yarn ends into the scrunchie.

Enjoy your new scrunchie!
