Classic Meatloaf



Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. ground beef, turkey, or goat

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups oats

  • 3/4 -1 cup ketchup

  • 1 Tb. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped

  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped

  • Garlic salt

  • Pepper

  • Parsley



Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Wash hands or put on gloves, then begin to mix all ingredients together with hands.




Once all ingredients have been mixed thoroughly, transfer over to a loaf pan. Gently pat meatloaf into the pan. When the oven is ready, put the loaf into the oven for 50-60 minutes.



The meatloaf should be browned at the top, and darker towards the edges when it's ready to come out of the oven. Finish by spreading ketchup over the top. Usually I like to put more ketchup on my meatloaf, but I was almost out. Cut into the meatloaf like bread and serve warm. Enjoy!
